Key Account Manager - Specialist Care - South East England

This family owned pharmaceutical organisation are exclusively focused on the secondary care sector and specialise in ground breaking treatments including Oncology, Neurology and Pain.

They pride themselves on their strong patient centred ethic and boast a very flat management structure in tandem with a low staff turnover.

A new opportunity has been created for a Specialist Care Key Account Manager to increase sales and to implement and deliver an account strategy.

You will be fully responsible and visible for your own success and be able to achieve a very high level of activity across your accounts. Through a thorough understanding of patient pathways, the Key Account Manager aligns their objectives to both the disease area strategy and the regional objectives across their local health economy, applying a commercial mindset alongside a deep understanding of the national health and care priorities, policy, funding flows and networks

Main responsibilities include:

  • Achieve sales targets through key account management, targeting and segmentation of customers
  • Launch preparation for new products/indications
  • Embed SMC & NICE approved drugs into patient pathways
  • Develop local KOLs for all indications

You must be able to demonstrate strong influencing skills in tandem with a winning attitude. Experience within an Oncology, Neurology or related environment would be an advantage.
