Your mission as a Key Account Manager

Appinio is looking for a highly driven and passionate Key Account Manager (m/f/d) to join our team and work closely with our Managing Director UK. You will act as a trusted advisor to our customers regarding the importance and potential of market research, innovation, and consumer centricity.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with strategic enterprise and key accounts across different industries. You will showcase the potential of Appinio's capabilities and develop a mutually beneficial commercial framework with stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing
  • You will be responsible for developing and driving growth strategies across the business.
  • You will represent Appinio to marketing and insights decision‑makers.
  • You will acquire new customers, advising and coaching them on the most relevant Market Research approach, leveraging Appinio's platform and methodologies portfolio.
  • You will scope and qualify client requirements for both new and existing projects.
  • You act as the voice of our customers, staying attuned to their pain points, competition, and growth prospects.
  • You will build and maintain a strong network.
  • You will create partnership opportunities within the industry to further strengthen Appinio’s positioning as a research partner.
  • You will represent Appinio at trade fairs and public speaking events, expand your network, and leverage existing contacts to drive our business.
  • You will work closely with our Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing Team to maximise growth opportunities.
  • You will drive brand growth by creating and promoting thought leadership that positions the company as an industry leader.
You will thrive in this role if
  • You have 10+ years of experience in B2B Sales in the Market Research industry.
  • Deep understanding of research methodologies and their application to client strategy.
  • You have a proven track record growing and managing enterprise level clients.
  • Lead end to end contract negotiations, renewals, and multi‑year agreements with procurement and executives.
  • Drive booking growth through upsells, cross‑sells and expansion into new markets or business lines.
  • You have excellent proficiency in English.
  • You are proficient in working with CRM tools, ideally Hubspot.
  • You are based in the UK, ideally in London.
  • An extensive network within the market research industry is a plus.
  • You have an empathetic nature with a keen sense for understanding the needs of others.
