Role Description
We're looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to look after and grow a portfolio of foodservice and food manufacturing customers. You'll play a key role in building strong relationships, keeping customers happy, and helping drive long-term growth for them and for us.
This is an office-based role with regular travel to visit customers. It's an exciting opportunity to join the business during a period of growth and expansion, with customers remaining at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a customer base of key foodservice and food manufacturing accounts.
- Develop meaningful, lasting customer relationships that add value for both them and us.
- Understand customer goals, operations, and challenges to deliver solutions.
- Identify opportunities to expand business within existing and prospective accounts through innovation, collaboration, and category insight.
- Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, presentations, and industry events.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, pricing, and profitability across your accounts.
- Support the delivery of business growth targets and commercial objectives.
The ideal candidate must have
- At least 2 years' experience in key or national account management, preferably within foodservice, food manufacturing, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Commercially astute with experience managing account profitability and delivering growth targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.

Working Hours
- 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
- Office based (hybrid working considered) travel expected for client visits.
