Our Air and Ocean team have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and customer-centric UK Key Account Manager with a focus on the healthcare sector.
This integral role will see you leading, creating and developing critical relationships with key healthcare clients where you will coordinate with internal teams to enable seamless and long-term logistics solutions.
Reporting into the Head of Key Account Management, you will act as the main escalation point for healthcare clients, understanding their specific supply chain needs and legislation requirements to develop tailor-made strategies mitigating risks and enabling operational success with key focuses on:
This amazing role will see you managing critical healthcare accounts across our UK and Ireland network, we are ideally looking for someone to be based at our London Heathrow operation, however we welcome applications from across the UK, as individuals must be flexible and comfortable with travel.
To be successful in your application you have significant experience in Account Management or Contract Management ideally within a freight forwarding or international transportation environment. You will be practiced in customer management, capable of building exceptional working relationships both internally and externally. You will have a proven track record of organic and new customer growth, experienced in contract development, performance delivery, commercial account management and financial understanding.
It goes without saying that you will be a natural communicator, influencer and negotiator, with exceptional people and problem‑solving skills, practiced developing and delivering operational and client account success.
While not essential, it would be desirable if you have proven experience of managing healthcare or freight forwarding accounts, in particular with knowledge of air or ocean freight imports and exports.
