A leading specialist trade merchant based in Aberdeen City, Scotland, is seeking a Key Account Manager. You will manage customer relationships, generate new business, and support operational sales activities. The ideal candidate will have account management experience and strong knowledge of the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry. As a Key Account Manager based in Scotland you’ll be responsible for:
Attending offsite customer visits to build strong relationships and upsell products
Maintain strong communication with branch managers, keeping them involved in the sales process
To generate new business through cold outreach and lead generation, which will contribute to year on year sales growth
To update Salesforce regularly, ensuring all information is accurate and recorded
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00-pm. This role is remote and you will be expected to travel regularly in North Scotland.
Previous account management experience in the industry
To be able to manage complex issues, deliver results and work well with a wider team
Experience in building a sales territory plan
Solid knowledge in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry
