KDB Developer – Fixed Income Electronic Trading at Eames Consulting Group seeks an experienced engineer to join a front-office technology team powering electronic trading. You will work with traders, quants and engineers to improve real-time pricing, trading and risk systems.

This hands-on role offers exposure to trading workflows, fast delivery cycles, and business stakeholders. You will design, build and maintain high-performance data pipelines and time-series platforms, contributing to live

Qualifications

Commercial experience with KDB+ and q in a front-office or trading environment.
Experience with real-time data processing and high-performance systems.
Strong Linux/Unix skills and development best practices.
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

Build and enhance KDB+/q applications for pricing, trading and risk.
Develop and maintain real-time data pipelines, analytics services and APIs.
Work directly with traders and front-office stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Help design and evolve high-performance market data and time-series platforms.
Support monitoring, analysis and reporting on trading performance and market activity.
Take part in releases, production support and continuous improvement.
Help shape the team's technical standards, development practices and testing approaches.
