Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a highly skilled KDB Developer to join our team and deliver innovative data solutions for leading global financial institutions. You will collaborate with our clients to implement KDB+/Q solutions, influence architecture, and contribute across the software lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in a software role with KDB+/Q, plus experience in Java, C++, or Python, and familiarity with Jenkins or TeamCity for deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a software engineering or development role with KDB+/Q.
• Strong academic background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science, or technology.
• Demonstrable track record of developing software in Java/C++/Python.
• Competency with deployment tools Jenkins or TeamCity.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our global clients as part of our KDB+ consulting practice.
• Operate as a Subject Matter Expert for product installations and customization.
• Contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, testing, and deployment.
• Interact with users to understand requirements, deployment needs, configurations, troubleshoot issues, and training.
• Support users in accessing and querying data.

• Strong academic background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science, or technology
• Demonstrable track record of developing successful software solutions in programming languages such as Java/C++/Python

• Strong initiative, with a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies
