Reinsurance Treaty Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated professional to join a leading international insurance and reinsurance organisation at their modern offices in the heart of the City of London. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic, international team, working with colleagues across multiple markets to deliver exceptional client service.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reinsurance Treaty Technician to join the specialist Technical Services team. As a Reinsurance Treaty Technician, you will be responsible for technical reinsurance processing and administration of proportional treaty accounts, premium adjustments, and XOL claims in accordance with slip conditions and company procedures. You will also assist with the collection of funds and provide broker support where required.

Technical Services is a highly professional and vitally important team, providing exceptional service to both external and internal stakeholders. The team consists of experienced professionals focusing on a variety of lines of business ranging from Aviation and Marine to Proportional and Non-Proportional Treaty. They are responsible for all post-bind processing, including risk and premium processing, issuance of client documentation, submission to the London Market bureaux, liaison with brokers, monitoring of paid and unpaid premiums, and electronic filing. The team also uses Tableau daily to monitor workflow and ensure key performance indicators are met.

About You

• Technical insurance knowledge to Cert CII level or equivalent experience
• Awareness of FCA regulations
• Strong IT literacy (Word, Outlook, Excel)
