JUNIOR TECHNICAL SALES EXECUTIVE

Our growing established sales team is looking for a Junior Technical Sales Executive to work alongside them and help grow the sales within our head office in Amersham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast‑moving organisation and the leaders in the industry. Training will be provided with the sales team and estimators in house but experience in the sector is preferred.

Our architectural glazing is featured in some of the world's most prestigious architectural projects as well as popular construction TV programs such as Grand Designs or Amazing Homes. We are the UK's premier and largest architectural glazing company specialising in high end and luxury homes.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with the entire project team of your Opportunities including architects, builders and end users for the project.
  • Maintain stringent Opportunity records within our CRM and ensure these are always kept up to date with the latest updates and information.
  • Provide technical information and support to the entire project team (architects, builders, developers and end users) to help convert sales.
  • Attend meetings with project teams to convert sales. These may be out of the office or on site as required.
  • Assist the growing sales team with overall department sales to reach the department target.
  • Liaise with the project management team to generate repeat business from existing clients.
  • Analyse architectural drawings and specifications to fully understand the scope of the Opportunity.
  • Create or update quotations for complex glazing installations with multi‑part items.
  • Deliver CPDs or other technical presentations to architects and similar specifiers with the view to generate enquiries and leads.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / ATTRIBUTES
  • Experience in a sales, customer service or client facing role preferred.
  • The ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • The ability to learn about new products, systems and to use our CRM system.
  • A good grasp of MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • An interest in architecture, engineering or interior design would be an advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a team environment.
  • The ability to multi‑task and prioritise workload.
  • Experience preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate.
THE DETAILS
  • Location: Amersham, office based.
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Salary: DOE including Commission Bonus structure.
  • Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week), 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1hr lunch plus options for working overtime on Saturday (9am to 3pm), organised on an adhoc and volunteer basis.
  • Probation: subject to a 6 months' probation
