Junior Structural Technician

Our established engineering consultancy is seeking a Junior Structural Technician or Graduate Engineer to join its technical team. This entry‑level role is suited for someone early in their career who is keen to develop strong fundamentals in structural detailing and project support within a stable, supportive environment. The position focuses on producing accurate technical drawings and assisting engineers with day‑to‑day project delivery across residential and small‑scale commercial schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare structural drawings and details under the guidance of engineers
  • Assist with revisions and updates to drawings as projects develop
  • Support engineers with basic technical information and documentation
  • Coordinate drawings with architectural and other design information
  • Maintain organised drawing records and project files
  • Attend site visits where appropriate to build practical understanding
About You
  • Qualification or training in civil or structural engineering technology
  • Some experience using Revit, Solid Edge or similar drafting software
