Job summary

Rudding Park in Harrogate is seeking a junior sous chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and loves delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will receive full training across all kitchen sections and have the chance to work across multiple outlets within the resort.

You will lead a section when required, train junior chefs, ensure food quality and health and safety, and help manage stock with the aim of meeting food cost targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen is desirable.
• Ability to lead a section and support senior chefs when needed.
• Strong focus on food quality, hygiene, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes using fresh, local produce.
• Run a kitchen section and assist with service in the absence of seniors.
• Manage stock, orders, and food safety records to meet targets.
• Train and motivate junior chefs to maintain high standards.
• Ensure kitchen hygiene and COSHH compliance at all times.
