Job summary

Megan's Restaurants in Windsor is seeking a skilled Junior Sous Chef to join our premium kitchen. You’ll ensure every dish meets the recipe spec, looks exceptional and you’ll train and lead our team to uphold top hygiene and safety standards.

This role offers opportunities to progress toward kitchen management as you develop your skills. We value a passionate, ambitious candidate who can thrive in a busy, Branded fresh-food environment and adapt across openings in our growing group.

Qualifications

• Experienced and ambitious Supervisor
• Previous Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in premium kitchen environments
• Willingness to develop towards kitchen management

Responsibilities

• Ensure dishes are prepared to recipe spec and look visually appealing
• Lead and train the kitchen team to maintain high standards
• Maintain food hygiene and health & safety at all times
• Support progression into kitchen management through skill development

We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Supervisor to join us. You'll be ensuring that all our dishes are prepared correctly to the recipe spec, that every dish that reaches the pass looks incredible and helping to train & lead our awesome team. You'll also ensure that the kitchen is a beacon for food hygiene and H&S standards, with a high level of cleanliness at all times. If you want to progress then we can help you pursue a career in kitchen management by developing your skills and knowledge even further. Ideally you’ll have previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a similar premium branded fresh food kitchen environment, but if you’ve got a different background then don’t let that stop you
