A leading hospitality firm in Milton Keynes is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join their restaurant. This role offers no evening shifts, providing a healthy work-life balance, with 28 days holiday, free meals during shifts, and paid overtime opportunities. Applicants ideally have experience as a Chef De Partie, willing to assist in the day-to-day running of the kitchen while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.   • Produce high-quality menus.
  • Assist in kitchen and food safety documentation.
  • Cover for Head Chef as needed.

A well-known company renowned for their quality and friendly service are seeking Junior Sous Chef to permanently join their RESTAURANT.

With no evenings shifts and Christmas Day, Boxing Day and easter Sunday off you also receive a fair share of weekends off too. This JUNIOR SOUS position provides an excellent opportunity for you to do the job you love whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance!

Salary: £24,000
Shift times – Straights with evenings off.
Contracted hours: 36 hours - 45 hours a week, plus paid overtime.

About you:

As Junior Sous Chef, you will work with the Sous Chef / Head Chef to ensure the day to day operation of the restaurant runs smoothly and customers are equally delighted by both our service and food.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Produce menus to high standard
  • Using food and cleaning order sheets
  • Ensuring due diligence documents are accurate and up to date
  • Overseeing the whole kitchen to cover the Head Chef on occasion
