Role Summary

As a software engineer you will work across research, design, testing and delivery of features for our product range. The role is hybrid, with approximately two days in the Uxbridge office each week. You will start in a junior capacity and grow with coaching and development.

Responsibilities
  • Research, design, develop and test software features across the product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, continuous integration/deployment, and test‑driven development practices.
  • Contribute to system architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to peers.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of a general‑purpose programming language (e.g., Golang, Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of network security (SSL/TLS) and other crypto concepts.
  • Appreciation of test‑driven development, continuous integration/deployment and Kanban.
  • Experience using Version Control Software such as Git as part of a team.
  • Experience developing for Machine Learning / Computer Vision.
  • Excellent academic results from a recognised university or demonstrable technical skills.
  • Proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
  • Team player who enjoys solving complex problems and working autonomously.
  • Willingness to learn new languages and frameworks, and to receive coaching.
