Job summary

Cirium, part of RELX, is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise software offerings in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. You will work with experienced engineers to deliver high-quality solutions across the full software lifecycle.

You will develop features, participate in reviews, and help drive code quality while expanding your technical expertise in Java, Python, SQL, and modern cloud-native practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of software engineering or related development experience.
• Understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and practices.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with data models, database structures, and data storage technologies (e.g., Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or Redshift).
• Experience with Java, Spring, or C# and Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to JavaScript and/or Python.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application development and modern engineering practices.
• Interest in software quality, testing, security, and continuous learning.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, maintainable software.
