Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group in Leeds is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join a fast-growing technology team. With around 1–2 years of commercial experience, you will contribute to building web apps, backend services, and APIs across the full software development lifecycle.

You’ll work with React/Angular/Vue, Node.js, Python, and .NET/C#, in a collaborative environment that supports ownership, learning, and growth. Hybrid work and mentorship are offered to accelerate your development.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of commercial software development experience.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong fundamentals in CS and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining web-based applications and internal platforms.
• Developing backend services and APIs.
• Creating responsive user interfaces and customer facing-features.
• Working within cloud-hosted environments and modern software development practices.
• Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers.
• Troubleshooting issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contributing to technical discussions around architecture, tooling, and best practices.
• Participating in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Expanding your technical expertise by working across multiple programming languages and frameworks.

As the engineering team continues to grow, they're looking for a Junior Software Engineer with around 1-2 years of commercial experience who enjoys solving real-world problems, learning new technologies, and working across the full software development lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing
