Job summary

ITSS Recruitment Ltd is advertising a Junior or Graduate Software Engineer role, based just outside Lincoln, with hybrid working. The position focuses on C++ or C# and is part of a defence and Search & Rescue organisation.

The team of 15 engineers, testers and product owners collaborates on innovative defence solutions and crosses from conception to launch. The ideal candidate is a motivated learner with good communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Junior or Graduate Software Engineer with strong basis knowledge and drive to learn.
• Good problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
• UK National with residency for government security vetting (min 5 years).

Junior or Graduate Software Engineer - Hybrid - Defence Sector - C++ or C# - Up to 30K + Bonus + 25 days holiday - Lincolnshire

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior or Graduate Software Engineer to join an award winning Defence and Search & Rescue organisation with offices just outside of Lincoln. The technical team consists of 15 and is comprised of Software Engineer, Software Testers, Product owners and Support.

They are a big believer in sharing thoughts and encouraging and supporting innovation and creativity. The Junior Software Engineer will also be given the chance to be involved in all aspects of the process, from conception through to completion and launch. The environment is relaxed yet professional and will provide the opportunity to design and develop code for technically complex Defence solutions.

Junior Software Engineer Tech Stack:

• C++ or C#

We are not expecting the Junior Software Engineer to be an expert in all the technologies above, just a strong basis knowledge and passion to learn more!

You will be an enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer, a good communicator and have a natural desire to create amazing code. The successful Junior Software Engineer should have strong problem solving abilities, organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Due to the nature of the position it's required for the Junior Software Engineer to be a UK National for government security vetting. This includes a minimum of 5 years consecutive UK residency.
