DXC Technology in Farnborough, UK is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our Software Engineering team. This hands-on role involves developing software products and conducting code reviews as part of a collaborative engineering team.

The ideal candidate has a degree in CS or related field and 2+ years of software development experience with C/C++, Python, and Linux. Knowledge of Agile/CI/CD and strong teamwork is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and professional experience).
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering and development.
• Experience of C/C++ programming with hands-on experience in production environments.
• Experience of Linux operating systems.
• Experience of Python programming with experience in real-world projects.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum, CI/CD).
• Awareness of the principles of version control systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• A willingness to develop new technical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Working with a team of software engineers developing software, products and solutions and conducting code reviews.
• Ensuring the successful delivery of software activities on time and within scope.
• Participate in investigation activities and technology assessments.
• Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to maintain code quality and best practices.
