Junior Site Manager / Project Assistant – Hotel Fit Out
About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Site Manager / Project Assistant to join our team on a prestigious hotel fit-out project in Central London. This role will suit someone with a solid understanding of construction who enjoys being involved in both site and office-based activities, supporting senior managers in delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and participate in project meetings, taking accurate and professional minutes.
  • Join regular site walks to observe progress and capture key details.
  • Take and annotate photographs to record construction activities and issues.
  • Manage and update project trackers to monitor progress and actions.
  • Follow up with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for overdue information or actions.
  • Assist with preparing and issuing reports and documentation for project management.
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the site and project teams.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within construction or fit-out projects (commercial, hotel, or residential).
  • A reasonable level of technical understanding of construction processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident in managing documentation and communicating with multiple stakeholders.
  • IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project tracking tools.
  • A proactive, professional attitude and willingness to learn.
