INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Junior Site Manager – Social Housing

Project – Residential

Job Location – Antrim

Salary – £25K-£28K + travel

About the Company

Amazing opportunity for a Junior Engineer or Graduate with a 0–1-year experience, to work with one of Norther Ireland’s well-established Tier 2 Main Contractors.

This role is suitable for ambitious engineers or graduates who want to pursue a career in site management with a busy main contractor.

This project is just starting with minimum of 3 years’ work there- great for someone who wants to gain experience with all construction stages.

The Role

  • Report to and support the Site Manager and Senior Engineer
  • Use total station to set out when required (training provided)
  • Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
  • Liaise with design team and architects to report any issues or help the flow of information.
  • Oversee and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
  • Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and report any issues to senior management in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Order materials as required.
  • Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.

Requirements

  • A recent Degree in Construction Management & Engineering.
  • Ideally will have completed a placement or 1 year with a Main Contractor.
  • Willingness to learn and work to get the project completed to a high standard.
  • Ambitious – keen to run your work projects in the near future.
