Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a skilled automotive technician to join our Tonbridge-area service team. You will perform German fleet maintenance, diagnostic tasks, and component repairs in a modern facility with dealer-level software.

The role is Monday to Friday with no weekends, offering a base salary of £28,000–£35,000 plus a performance bonus pool and the potential to earn up to £38,000 OTE. Training in German networks and EVs is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on workshop or garage experience is required.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification required.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-standard routine servicing and safety checks on German fleet.
• Use dealer software to diagnose faults and improve upskilling.
• Assist with timing chains, clutches, gearboxes, and adaptive suspension.

• German Fleet Maintenance: High-standard routine servicing, safety checks, and brake/suspension repairs to German specs.

• Component Repairs: Assist with timing chains, clutches, gearboxes, and adaptive suspension setups.

What We Need

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on garage experience (German marque experience is a bonus, but mechanical drive is key).
• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 / City & Guilds / IMI qualification.
• Licence: Full UK Driving Licence.
