Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Junior Service Engineer to service and repair spray booths across a regional patch, mainly around Chelmsford and East Anglia. You will start by shadowing senior engineers and progress to autonomous field work.

The role offers OTE £50,000–£55,000 with a base salary of £33,000–£36,000, door-to-door pay, a company van, fuel card, flexible hours and ongoing training and progression.

Qualifications

• ACS / Gas Safe registration is required.
• Willingness to travel regionally and work overtime.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and breakdown repair on spray booths.
• Shadow senior engineers before working autonomously.

Are you ACS / Gas Safe registered? On offer is a varied, fast-paced role where you will cover a regional patch within a leading company who offer specialist training to upskill yourself in Commercial Gas and both door-to-door pay and overtime to greatly increase your earnings.

This industry-leading company are a manufacturer and distributor of spray booths for a broad range of clients across numerous industries including automotive, aerospace and rail. They have seen continual growth in the past 30 years and due to an ever increasing workload are looking to grow their friendly team.

This varied role will see you initially shadowing senior engineers and then working autonomously as you carry out a range of PPM in addition to some reactive breakdown work on specialist spray booths. You will cover a regional patch (roughly 2 hours primarily within East Anglia and the surrounding areas), working a 40 hour week with any overtime and further travel paid at 1.5x.
