Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an entry-level Digital Marketing Assistant in Solihull, UK to support SEO, AI optimisation, and content across websites and platforms. You will work with local and international teams, gaining hands-on experience with SEMrush, Google Search Console, WordPress and other tools.

You will help plan organic social content, monitor performance, and assist with paid campaigns while developing skills in digital marketing and CMS management.

Qualifications

• Has hands on experience of SEO and AI optimisation, gained through qualifications, personal projects or a previous role.
• Has a genuine interest in SEO, AI optimisation and digital marketing and a willingness to learn.
• Demonstrates strong written communication skills with clear content.
• Is highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive and able to learn independently using training resources.
• Ideally holds a relevant digital marketing qualification and has experience using SEMrush, Google Search Console, Canva, Adobe and Matamo.
• Has knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platforms, along with exposure to SEO, website content creation, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager or other SEO tools.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Marketing Team across SEO and AI optimisation updates
• Making website updates and changes, while helping to ensure content remains accurate and up to date
• Pulling together results and metrics, monitoring performance and helping to identify opportunities for improvement
• Assisting with the setup, monitoring and optimisation of paid campaigns
• Planning and scheduling organic social content, as well as creating engaging posts, copy and basic creative assets using content supplied by the Marketing and Sales Teams
• Working closely with local and international digital teams and keeping up to date with the latest platform and industry developments.
