JUNIOR SECURITY ENGINEER

Salary GBP28000 Per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card

Location: London Boroughs of Haringey, Hackney and Islington

Full Time Permanent Monday to Friday 8am 16:30pm with 30–minute break

Attega Group is recruiting for a Junior Security Engineer to join one of our client Partners

The main purpose of this role is to carry out routine testing of Access Control Door Entry Systems & CCTV Systems and attending low level simple faults. If a more complex or demanding fault is found this will be recorded so that the engineering department can carry out corrective actions to resolve the fault by sending a more Senior Engineer.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to GBP28000 P/A, plus Company Van & Fuel Card, Uniform, Phone and Tablet as well as 30 Days holiday (inclusive of Bank holidays) Increase 1 day per annum up to 33 days, plus your Birthday

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine testing of Access Control, Door Entry Systems, and CCTV systems
• Attend to low–level and simple faults within these systems
• Identify and report more complex faults to the engineering department for escalation to a Senior Engineer
• Participate in a structured training program to develop skills and knowledge related to security systems
• Gain hands–on experience while learning the technical requirements of the role
• Opportunity for career advancement into a more senior position, involving complex fault–finding and rectification, as skills and experience grow

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Electrical experience from a previous role is advantageous (though not essential for this trainee position)
• Ability to take ownership of daily tasks and complete them within set deadlines
• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering work to the highest standard
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to train and adapt to new technologies and systems
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is desirable

Essential Personal Requirements

• Must have permanent right to work in the UK (not via a working visa)
• Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
• Must be able to pass a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service)
• Physically fit and able to carry out hands–on work
• Ideally based in East London or South Essex
