Job summary

Erskine Stewart Melville in Edinburgh is seeking a part-time Wraparound Care Practitioner for the Junior School on a permanent basis. The role is 22.5 hours per week during term time and 26.25 hours per week during school holidays, with salary scales of £25,423 for unqualified and £25,990 for qualified practitioners (1 FTE).

You will supervise children aged Nursery to P7, prepare daily activities, and contribute to planning and evaluation while maintaining a caring, enthusiastic approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and interacting with groups of children on a daily basis.
• Preparing and organising resources for each day’s activities to provide high quality care and a safe play environment.
• Taking part in planning and evaluation, and preparing activities and tasks.
