Job summary

William James Recruitment seeks a Regulatory & Professional Discipline Solicitor for a Central London role supporting a growing, specialist practice. The position offers exposure to high-stakes regulatory matters and advocacy early in your career.

You will handle police station representations, advise professionals, and prepare cases while developing client management skills in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Qualifed solicitor with 0–3 years' PQE.
• Full Police Station Accreditation.
• Duty Solicitor Accreditation.
• Genuine interest in professional regulation and disciplinary law.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients at police stations, including out-of-hours attendance.
• Act for professionals in regulatory and disciplinary proceedings.
• Assist investigations involving regulatory bodies.
• Review and manage large volumes of evidence.
• Prepare cases, draft documents and conduct legal research.
• Advise clients clearly throughout proceedings.
• Liaise with regulators, counsel and stakeholders.
• Work to tight deadlines on complex matters.
• Contribute to the growth of the practice.
