Linsco are seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a team based in Stockport, supporting a range of Construction, Fit out and refurbishment projects. Working closely with senior commercial staff, you will gain hands-on experience in cost management, contract administration, and procurement, contributing to the successful delivery of high-profile water and utility schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, valuations, and cost forecasts
• Support in the measurement and valuation of works, both on-site and from drawings
• Contribute to subcontractor procurement, tendering, and contract negotiations
• Monitor project variations and assist with the preparation of change control documentation
• Help ensure financial compliance with client frameworks and NEC contracts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly cost/value reports and cashflow forecasts
• Work collaboratively with engineers, site teams, and external stakeholders
• Support senior QS staff in dispute resolution and final account agreements
• Understanding of cost control systems and processes
