Overview

An established and growing construction consultancy, known for delivering high-quality services across multiple sectors, is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their Bath office. This is an ideal opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor who has recently completed their degree or degree apprenticeship and is looking for the right environment to grow and develop their career.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting senior team members with cost planning and estimating
  • Supporting the preparation of tender documents and contracts
  • Helping with post-contract cost management including valuations and variations
  • Attending client meetings and site visits
  • Supporting the APC process and working towards chartered status
Requirements
  • A BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or a related construction degree (or working towards completion)
  • A strong desire to progress within a consultancy environment
  • Some industry experience via placement or post-graduation preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning
