Our client has been established for more than half a century and are recognised as a leading manufacturer of innovative and energy efficient solutions for a range of commercial and industrial applications, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth and succession planning, are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self- motivated Junior Quality Technician to complement their quality team and develop their career in a stable and progressive environment.
Based in Wednesbury and reporting to the Group Technical Manager, the successful Junior Quality Technician candidate will be tasked with providing support to both internal and external customers, ensuring their requirements are met and all elements that impact upon quality are in place, reviewed, monitored and maintained to prevent issues impacting quality.
You will undertake product and process inspection and quality data management activities, as well as problem‑solving and RCA work and implementing corrective actions, with other duties including system maintenance, auditing and collaboration with other departments and team to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
The successful candidate will bring practical engineering skills gained within a manufacturing environment, together with a basic knowledge of international standards such as ISO 9001. You'll ideally hold a recognised engineering qualification or be qualified by experience (QBE), with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong mathematical and English skills. Knowledge of different heating appliances would be a real advantage. Most importantly, you'll have excellent organisational and communication skills, the confidence to work independently, and the enthusiasm to learn and grow within the role.
