Junior Project Manager and Resource Coordinator - Social Content Agency
Full Time role based in London at McCann Content Studios / Bishopsgate. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager within MCS. Hybrid working with 3 days a week onsite. Permanent role starting January 2026. Please only apply if you have the right to work in the UK and can work on site.
The Role
We're on the lookout for a Junior Project Manager with Resource Coordination experience, ideally from a social-first agency environment. If you thrive in a fast‑paced setting, love juggling multiple priorities, and enjoy building strong relationships across teams and with freelancers, this could be the perfect next step for you. This is a dual‑focused role, split between project management for a major retail client and overseeing internal and external resourcing for the MCS team.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate briefs across the MCS team to meet strategic and operational goals.
- Support teams in scoping work, estimating resource needs, and aligning timelines with capacity.
- Source, book, and onboard freelancers, ensuring smooth introductions and IT setup.
- Manage bookings and contracts via Worksome, including IR35 compliance and timesheet approvals.
Project Management
- Lead day‑to‑day project delivery for a key retail client.
- Create estimates, scopes of work, and manage budgets and timelines.
- Build and maintain detailed timing plans using project management tools.
- Ensure clear, consistent communication with clients and internal teams.
- Track project financials and ensure accurate reconciliation.

Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience managing both projects and resourcing in a social, creative, production or marketing agency.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and respond to last‑minute requests.
- Solid project management experience, ideally with retail clients.
- Familiarity with project management platforms, Workfront experience is a plus.
- Experience handling freelancer timesheets, payroll, and IR35 legislation.
- Willingness to work onsite and flexibly as needed.
