Our Role
As Junior Project Manager in the Creative Operations team, you will play a key supporting role in the planning and delivery of creative and design projects for the brand, alongside the delivery of seasonal assets across fashion, interiors, and campaign shoots. Working closely with our in-house production, marketing and creative teams, you will help to ensure that our projects run smoothly, efficiently, and on time.
Reporting to the Senior Creative Operations Manager, this role is a great opportunity to hone your project management and operations skills, learn best-in-class processes, and play an important part in bringing The White Company brand to life through beautiful, elevated storytelling.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to someone with some experience working for a retailer or brand, who understands the creative process and thrives in a busy studio environment. You will support the team and your manager to deliver projects on our critical path and can confidently traffic work through the business in an efficient manner.
What you'll be doing
- Support the production of creative content and design projects for the brand (campaign, stills, motion, digital, design) by helping to scope each project: defining deliverables, timelines, and resource needs alongside senior producers, marketing and creative leads.
- Maintain and update project plans and the critical path calendar, ensuring internal teams have visibility of timelines and milestones and hit deadlines
- Track project brief deliverables, helping to monitor time and productivity on Asana
- Manage cross-department communication: liaise regularly with Creative, Marketing, E-commerce, Buying to ensure alignment, setting meetings, agendas and meeting notes/actions to keep on track
- Support quality control: ensure all creative output meets brand standards by coordinating internal reviews and sign-offs, and that all work is reviewed according to brief, and is signed off promptly
- Identify risks or potential delays early and flag to senior management with proposed solutions
- Manage multiple projects in parallel, prioritising tasks, tracking progress, and shifting resources as needed to meet deadlines
- Help refine, introduce and improve production workflow and processes (e.g. brief formats, review cycles, asset management tools and QA, project trafficking tools) for greater efficiencies
What Skills & Experience You’ll Need
- Experience in a production management, creative ops or project management role within a retail, fashion, or lifestyle brand (or creative agency supporting retail brands).
- An understanding of the creative process - from brief to project milestones to final delivery and asset/file delivery.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Confident working with multiple stakeholders and departments to ensure smooth handovers and timely delivery.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools, project management workflows, and digital asset management platforms.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a solution-oriented, attention to detail-led approach.
- Eager to learn and grow within a dynamic creative production team.
