Are you an experienced CAD engineer looking to get into project management by joining an industry leading OEM that will develop your skillset and provide career progression opportunities?

This company are a turnkey solutions provider for a range of manufacturing industries. They work with big clients such as Pfizer, along with many others in industries like mineral handling and manufacturing, as well as bulk handling. With a full design team and plenty of projects to manage, this team provide a variety of work to keep you on your toes.

On offer is the opportunity to become a key asset to the future of the business. You will be leading some of your own projects and assisting other engineers to meet client's deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of 2D CAD designs and SolidWorks, to be able to apply them to the bespoke air filtration products you will be creating.

This role would suit an experienced design engineer looking to step up into a project management role, where you can develop your career in a growing business and learn new skills to enhance your technical knowledge.

The Role:
  • Undertake project management and control of new contracts from sales handover to final delivery and installation
  • Assist with site surveys and measurements
  • Prepare plant layouts and general assembly drawings in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Negotiation of purchasing of equipment from suppliers, as well as signing off on supplier invoices
  • Preparation of data dossiers / O&M Manuals
The Person:
  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/similar
  • Experience in a CAD engineer/Design role
  • Full UK driving licence
