Job summary

Asda George is hiring a Junior Product Developer to support the product lifecycle from concept through delivery. Based in George House, you will work in a hybrid setup with 3 days in the office, contributing to fashion-forward, market-driven products while ensuring quality and compliance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, sourcing, and merchandising to optimise processes and supplier partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing the full product development lifecycle from concept through delivery.
• Ability to support the Product Development Manager in achieving departmental objectives and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong understanding of fit, sizing, grade rules, and supplier collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop commercially viable and fashion-forward products meeting customer and market needs.
• Support the Product Development Manager across the full lifecycle from concept through pre-production to delivery.
• Coordinate with UK warehouse to manage CFS rejections and mitigate risks.
• Drive fabric innovations and development blocks with internal and external teams to add value and reduce costs.
• Oversee the product development cycle, align with department critical paths and ensure quality.
• Manage fit and sizing standards, ensuring compliance with grade rules.
• Support in handling safety, quality, and legal compliance across products.
