Job summary

SUCCESS TALENT in the United Kingdom is seeking a Junior Product Developer for a long-standing lifestyle brand across mens, womens and children's apparel. You will help develop products from concept to proto, coordinating CAD updates and ensuring quality before production.

The role involves liaising with factories and the operations team, managing lab dips, trims and labelling checks, and supporting sample prep and critical path meetings. 1–2 years in apparel product work is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of apparel product experience.
• Experience with CAD, tech packs and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Amend CAD overviews, CAD drawings or tech packs where required.
• Be responsible for ensuring the product is produced to the desired quality.
• Create allocation overviews or update overviews as required.
• Assist in coordinating raw materials/trims and production in a timely manner.
• Approve lab dip, print strike offs and embroideries at proto stage.
• Measure and prepare samples and make notes related to the products.
• Hang and prepare samples to prepare for customer meetings.
• Liaise with factories day-to-day.
• Liaise with Garment Technicians day-to-day.
• Ensure all fabric qualities, fabric colours, embroideries, prints, trims and labelling/packaging are all correct before production commences.
• Assist in the critical path management and attend the meetings with the Operations team.
• Send out PP/shipment samples to the buyers for approval or reference.
• Assist in organising sample rails as per the orders.
• Assist in updating the sample tracker/production approval status.
