Job summary

Pure 4 Recruitment is seeking a proactive procurement assistant to support sourcing, supplier management and material availability in a fast-paced commercial environment.

You will build relationships with suppliers, analyse purchasing data, and collaborate across sales, operations and logistics to deliver value and ensure customer demand is met. The role emphasises category management concepts, cost-quality-service trade-offs, and timely PO processing using Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a procurement, purchasing, supply chain or commercial support role, or a strong desire to develop within procurement.
• Good analytical and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Competent using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the procurement team in sourcing products and services.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
• Assist with supplier negotiations and commercial discussions.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery and quality.
• Support category management activities and supplier reviews.
• Analyse purchasing data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Work closely with sales, operations and logistics to ensure product availability.
