Junior Process Technologist

Are you a food science graduate or early-career technologist eager to see your ideas hit supermarket shelves? This is your chance to join a fast-paced, innovation-driven food manufacturing team as a Junior Process Technologist, helping turn great kitchen concepts into successful retail products.

What you'll be doing as the Junior Process Technologist:
  • Support the scale-up of new products, organising and assisting with factory trials to ensure a smooth transition from kitchen sample to full production.
  • Collaborate with NPD, Technical, and Production teams, learning how to bring new ideas to life while ensuring they meet customer and food safety standards.
  • Prepare and maintain key documentation - from QAS and HACCP records to process flows, photographic standards, and trial reports.
  • Source and manage trial materials, coordinating new ingredients and raw material specs with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Monitor product performance and quality, supporting shelf‑life testing, nutritional validation, and retailer submissions.
  • Participate in taste panels and validation trials, helping refine recipes and processes for quality and consistency.
  • Support continuous improvement projects, analysing data, spotting process opportunities, and helping drive smarter, safer ways of working.
  • Grow your technical expertise, gaining hands‑on experience in food manufacturing, customer protocols, and product development.
What you'll need as the Junior Process Technologist:
  • An understanding or interest in the food manufactruing industry
  • Experience within FMCG is an advantage
  • Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
  • Own transport
  • Full UK working rights are required
