Job summary

Sellick Partnership (Legal) Limited is assisting a well-regarded regional firm in recruiting a Junior Private Client Solicitor with at least 6 months PQE to handle a varied private client caseload from wills to trusts and probate.

You will work alongside experienced private client lawyers, developing technical expertise while building lasting client relationships on high-value matters.

Qualifications

• 6+ months PQE in private client law.
• Experience with trusts, tax and estate planning desirable.
• Strong client relation skills in a regional firm.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex wills and succession planning.
• Engage in inheritance tax planning and estate planning.
• Manage trusts, their creation, administration and taxation.
• Oversee probate and estate administration.
• Support Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters.
• Develop long-term client relationships within private client matters.

£45,000 - £55,000 DOE

I am working with a well-regarded regional Legal 500 firm that are looking to add a Junior Private Client Solicitor with at least 6 months PQE to join its growing and well-established private client team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive, collegiate environment, working alongside experienced private client lawyers and advising a varied client base on complex and high-value matters.

You will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of private client matters, including but not limited to:

• Complex Wills and succession planning
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Estate planning
• Lifetime and discretionary trusts
• Trust creation, administration and taxation
• Trust registration and ongoing management
• Probate and estate administration
• High-value and taxable estates
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection matters
• Deputyship applications
• Attorney support services

The role will provide exposure to complex work and the opportunity to develop strong technical expertise while building long-term client relationships.

You will ideally have experience across a broad range of private client work and a genuine interest in developing your expertise in areas such as trusts, tax, estate planning and succession.
