The Payroll Analyst is a key member of the payroll team, providing support in the end-to-end running of payrolls and taking ownership of key foundational tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provision of relevant & accurate information to support the regular payroll cycles
  • Take responsibility for specific tasks / elements of the payrolls, including:
  • Produce routine payroll updates for managers
  • Manage the ‘Employee of Record’ employee arrangements with third party payroll providers
  • Manage / clear general queries in the payroll inboxes
  • Managing the HiBOB (HR system) / payroll interface, including cross-reconciliations, assigning employee codes & cross-checking payroll to contracts, benefits management
  • Oversight of quarterly audits against all our third-party payroll suppliers
  • Supporting with audit & tax year-end activities
  • Manage the Give-As-You-Earn monthly process
  • Pension reconciliations, Accountability updates, distribution of statutory documents (e.g. P45; P60 etc)
  • Identify, agree & implement process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency & financial controls
  • Take over the end-to-end running of specific smaller payrolls, enabling colleagues to play a more oversight / review role
  • Partner with local HR team to facilitate the collection and processing of payroll instruction in line with company policy and local legislation
