A regional healthcare organization in England is seeking an experienced candidate to support the Women and Children management team. The role involves assisting the Assistant Operational Manager with performance and project work. Ideal candidates will have experience in health services and will be able to develop their project management and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be expected to support with a wide range of Performance and project and transformation work within our Women and Children Services assisting Operational Manager. You should have gained experience within a health service setting looking for an opportunity to develop your project management and leadership skills. This role requires values-based leadership.

Working closely with the Assistant Operational Manager & Clinical Teams for the specialties, the post holder is responsible for supporting the Assistant Operational Manager to ensure performance and service improvement are achieved alongside other business activities of the service area to ensure delivery of its strategic and operational objectives in line with the Operational Delivery Plan and Accountability Agreement.
The post holder will work closely with the Assistant Operational Managers to ensure efficient and effective management of all resources in order to deliver safe, high quality and effective clinical services in an environment of continuous improvement.
The successful applicant will be working closely with other members of the Women and Children Management leadership team to deliver a quality, patient-focused service.
