You’ll support the daily running of the nursery, assist in planning fun and educational activities, and help ensure our children feel happy, safe, and valued.

Responsibilities
  • Support the supervisors and nursery assistants with daily routines and activities.
  • Help create a caring, stimulating environment that encourages children’s development.
  • Supervise playtime, meals, and rest periods.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery space.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
Skills and Qualifications
  • An interest in the care, learning and development of young children.
  • A positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with parents.
  • Flexibility including the ability to cope with changing needs and demands.
  • Approachable and a good listener.
  • A childcare Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
