We pride ourselves on our warm, inclusive atmosphere and our commitment to supporting both children and staff. We’re looking for a Junior Nursery Assistant to join our friendly team. You’ll support the daily running of the nursery, assist in planning fun and educational activities, and help ensure our children feel happy, safe, and valued.

Responsibilities
  • Support the supervisors and nursery assistants with daily routines and activities.
  • Help create a caring, stimulating environment that encourages children’s development.
  • Supervise playtime, meals, and rest periods.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery space.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Enthusiasm for working with young children.
  • An interest in the care, learning and development of young children.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with parents.
  • Flexibility including the ability to cope with changing needs and demands.
  • A childcare Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
