The Job You're Considering

The Network Smart Hands Support Technician will provide on-site technical assistance and support for network infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting, equipment handling, and performing basic network tasks under the guidance of remote engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking principles and excellent communication skills.

As per the Client's requirements, this position will require 5 days On-Site work in London

If you are offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history dating back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)

Your Role
  • Respond to requests for on-site support and assistance with network equipment and infrastructure.
  • Perform equipment installations, configurations, and decommissions as directed.
  • Assist with troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues.
  • Execute standard network tasks, such as cable management, patching, and rack management.
  • Document actions taken and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Collaborate with remote engineering teams to execute complex configurations and repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of network equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanour while on-site.
  • Follow safety protocols and best practices while working with network equipment.

Your Security Clearance

To be appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
