Qualifications

• Experience in IT service desk or help desk environments.
• Familiarity with using WINTEL and VMware.
• Understanding of IP Subnetting and Routing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical support calls from end users.
• Set up and install new computers and networks.
• Diagnose and fix network problems and hardware issues.

Skills

Experience of working within an IT service desk/help desk environment

WINTEL, VMware implementation experience

Knowledge of IP Subnetting and Routing protocols including OSPF and BGP

Knowledge of routers, switches and firewalls

Professional interpersonal/communication skills

Positive attitude and determination

Education

Networking certification e.g. CCNP
