Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is seeking a software developer to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve our product software with input and coaching from senior team members.

You will work with the product team to bridge requirements and technical implementation, optimise maintainability and stability, and contribute feedback to code reviews while collaborating with engineers to deliver high quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# .NET with API development experience.
• Experience developing/maintaining or integrating with web-based APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL databases and data formats (XML/JSON).
• Familiar with version control and DRY/SOLID principles.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ or similar).
• Awareness of unit testing frameworks and tooling such as Postman.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve our product software with input and coaching from senior team members.
• Work with the product team to bridge the gap between requirements and technical implementation.
• Optimise applications for maximum maintainability/stability.
• Contribute feedback to code reviews, and collaborate with engineers to deliver quality.
• Work with senior software engineers to plan technical approaches to solution delivery.
