Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Junior Mechanical / Electrical Fitter for a manufacturing client in Fakenham. You will assemble, fit and test lifting and handling equipment, reading engineering drawings, and developing your skills with full in-house training.

The role offers a 27,000 - 30,000 base salary with overtime to boost earnings (OTE ~37k), Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, and company benefits. An equal opportunities employer.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical or electrical fitting knowledge.
• Looking to develop their skills further.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical and electrical assembly of specialist machinery.
• Wiring, fault finding and testing of equipment.
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm workshop-based.
