JOB – Graduate/Junior Mechanical Engineer

LOCATION – Oldham

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £25,000-£35,000, dependent on experience

My client is a leading expert who specialise in Design and Manufacturer for bespoke equipment. They are looking for a Graduate/Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Oldham on a permanent basis.

Attributes / Qualifications
  • Apprenticeship/Degree qualified in Mechanical Design Engineering or similar
  • A sound understanding of Engineering disciplines and principals
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • A strong proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks)
  • Experience working with a range of manufacturing processes
  • Hands-on technical experience through your course
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
  • Organised with excellent communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities
  • Supporting/overseeing the Projects and Service team
  • Dealing with customers on a technical level
  • Working to budgets and project timings
  • Designing components for manufacture and installation
  • Investigating new product lines and areas within which the company can expand
  • Being involved in different manufacturing processes
  • Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
  • Keeping track of company documentation, equipment and necessary upgrades
