Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a local company in Hemel Hempstead, an innovative and expanding business that are looking for a Junior Marketing Assistant.

This is going to be an ideal first job for someone looking for a fun company and team who will give all the training and tools to learn, grow and develop to no end!

The role is going to be perfect for someone confident and ambitious and you're certainly going to need some kind of existing marketing knowledge or qualifications or at the very least a passion to get into the industry - Even if it's just a hobby, we'd ideally love to find someone that's got some kind of design/canva exposure.

You'd be joining a small marketing team and working very closely with a Manager and Exec in the team, starting as a Junior but realistically they'd be looking to train you to become a fully fledged Assistant down the line and then there's room to step up and become a Senior too - So there's not only personal development but there's a ladder to climb here too!

With this being a Junior level role, it's going to be paying a salary of £24,000 + a lucrative bonus scheme, loads of benefits and amazing work culture, all of which I'd detail more over a call.

The role is based in Hemel Hempstead, Maylands - Full time, Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 5pm.

As standard, from day 1 during training you'd be able to work from home on a Friday, and then once fully-trained you'd be able to work from home on both a Monday and Friday.

Please note that we're looking for someone to interview for this role across November/December and then start this position in early January.

Duties (training provided)
  • Designing and creating content for email campaigns on a regular basis for our business, our clients and their business customers (bank of base material available to work with)
  • Designing and creating marketing materials and formatting images for digital content using online tools; brochures, case studies, presentations, leaflets, social post imagery, photo editing and any other ad hoc design requirements
  • Managing and maintaining social media accounts
  • Creation of content, mainly using a bank of content supplied, sometimes requiring improvisation for email campaigns, social media and general marketing materials (all content will be proofed)
  • Administration and monitoring of some CRM system data and reports
  • Occasionally supporting the organisation and smooth running of client and staff events
