Junior Manufacturing Engineer – Warwickshire

A globally high volume manufacturer is looking to strengthen their manufacturing department with the appointment of a Junior Manufacturing Engineer. The role involves ensuring all manufacturing requirements are communicated in detail through the relevant departments and providing support throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Create FMEA’s, Process Flows, Control Plans, Work Instructions, Gauge Instructions, PPAP submissions, Packing Instructions, and other process documents.
• Work on NPI projects from the initial process design and layout stage through to full launch.
• Deal with new and existing suppliers to introduce new machines, tools and equipment.
• Manage the buy‑off process for new machines and tools.
• Introduce Poka Yoke systems to meet customer expectations.
• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) on current production.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should be educated to degree level in engineering or possess an HNC/HND qualification.
