Qualifications

• Experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, corporate finance, M&A, project finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong interest in renewable energy investments, particularly Solar PV, BESS, and hybrid assets.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
• Renewable energy experience is highly desirable, with direct Solar PV or BESS investment experience particularly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating Solar PV, BESS, and hybrid investment opportunities across development, acquisition, and financing stages.
• Building, maintaining, and reviewing financial models to assess project returns, cash flows, valuations, and investment cases.
• Analysing project economics, including revenues, costs, CAPEX, OPEX, financing assumptions, and key investment risks.
• Assessing BESS revenue opportunities, market dynamics, regulatory developments, and changing revenue assumptions.
• Conducting commercial and financial due diligence on potential acquisitions and development opportunities.
• Monitoring market and regulatory developments and assessing their impact on project valuations and investment strategy.
• Supporting acquisition, disposal, and financing processes, working closely with legal, technical, commercial, and financial advisers.
• Comparing investment opportunities and supporting the prioritisation of projects across the wider Solar, BESS, and hybrid portfolio.
• Working closely with development, engineering, finance, legal, and commercial teams to ensure investment decisions are supported by robust analysis.
