Who we're looking for

As a Junior Management Accountant, you will be an ambassador for Finance and one of the first points of contact for the agency for finance-related queries. You should be an enthusiastic self-starting individual with excellent attention to detail and written communication skills, along with strong analytical abilities. We’re looking for someone who is competent in managing their workload under pressure and can take responsibility for meeting deadlines.

You will also assist colleagues during busy periods, help cover team absences, and support the financial reporting team.

What you'll be doing
  • Raising purchase orders for intercompany and trade vendor costs
  • Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts for several VML group companies, including reviewing general ledger accounts, the preparation of manual journals, and account reconciliations
  • Ensuring adherence to the SOX compliant control environment
  • Reviewing and reconciling month-end actuals reporting, ensuring sufficient supporting evidence for a full audit trail
  • Providing support to the wider agency with various finance functions, such as new-client setups and helping with supplier invoice queries
  • Managing the setup of users on the finance accounting system
What you'll need
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance function, preferably within an agency environment or similar
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to proactively manage workload to deliver multiple tasks and meet reporting deadlines
  • Proficient with Excel and accounting software
